Greening Deserts Crowdfunding Campaign on Kickstarter is Live!

The Crowdfunding Campaign on Kickstarter is live! http://kck.st/2bSEhnV
Now you can support the project financially. But of course any other kinds of support like advises, recommendations or suggestions are welcome! Invite and share it with your friends, it’s all in good cause.

Great news, we got requests from some countries like Egypt, Tunisia, India, Pakistan and China for the Greening Deserts projects. We hope to get some support (land, materials, etc.) from each nation where we will start, so we could realise the first camps very fast and effective over the next years. The first desert plants and bamboo parks or little woods could stand in up to five years. If we do not get support from the governments or communities mentioned above we can lease land or start in Spain where we have a lot of good contacts and friends. You have ideas in which areas or countries the project could fit, too? Write a PM or comment below.

Big thanks to the first supporters who spend some money! The first 50 backers who spend 25 or more will get an extra surprise for their package, just a hint it has something to do with backpacks.

Greening Deserts Crowdfunding Campaign on Kickstarter and Startnext

Preparing an international crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. Doing an extra crowdfunding campaign on Startnext, because you can’t use Paypal on Kickstarter and to reach also people in Europe or Germany. Everyone should have a chance to support the project financially. More information coming soon, stay tuned! www.greeningdeserts.com

Each advise, recommendations and constructive feedback is welcome!

The first art cards and info flyers for Germany arrived. They will be shared in different cities. There will be much more information material and merchandise like shirts, posters, pins,.. especially for the crowdfunding campaigns. We have not much money, but we invest everything we have. We are pleased about your active support when hanging up posters and spreading flyers.

Big thanks to the people of Ancient Trance Festival in Taucha nearby Leipzig, who allowed to spread flyers over the weekend. Next year the project will be maybe active part of this wonderful festival.

Visit us also on Twitter and follow us if you are connected. If you want help and can’t spend money share our pages or posts. Invite your friends to the pages. Thank you!

Desert Plants Research of New and Old Species

We want to (re)cultivate also food, herbs and medicinal plants are or were typical for each country or region we start, especially ancient plants were important in old times but today’s society has forgotten. That’s why Greening Deserts want to research or rediscover old plants and find new plants.

“The beginnings of civilization and the origins of the healing arts can be traced back to Africa and the divine Inmhotep, healer to the Pharaohs. The ancient African healers had an elaborate materia medica, most of the over 5,000 plant species have been used for food and medicine for centuries.” http://bit.ly/2arNKHJ, http://bit.ly/2aKpG0U, http://bit.ly/2ax49FK

Desert Plants Species and Types

There are thousands of ‘desert plants’ growing in dry plains or hilly areas. We know the most of plants for fast and efficient greening of dry areas. But to produce really good topsoil you need some special plants in combination with desert bamboo. Each region and climate zone needs a special mix. This is our project and we can realise it fast with the right (financial) support. Of course we will keep on researching and developing new possibilities and techniques. With the experience of the first camps we will achieve even better results in future. One of our goals is to use the best of the best growing (greenhouse) techniques for upcoming space projects. Show some support for our projects for afforestation, clean food and renewable energy production. Share it for a better future and help us to stop global warming. @Desert Bamboo Project @Desert Rice Cultivation

With special desert plants and irrigation systems it is possible to reach such results in less time.

There are great opportunities and possibilities for greening deserts with desert plants like desert bamboo.

Here is one good idea, start growing bamboo groves, parks and whole woods! Check more here: http://www.desert-bamboo.com
