Human Rights Day and Quotes

Share much Love, Peace, Harmony and Unity on the Human Rights Day and on all other days! And maybe think about Human Rights Days or a Human Rights Week? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Rights_Day

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. – Martin Luther King

The rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened. – John F. Kennedy

Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers. – United Nations, Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Freedom means the supremacy of human rights everywhere. Our support goes to those who struggle to gain those rights and keep them. Our strength is our unity of purpose. To that high concept there can be no end save victory. – Franklin D. Roosevelt

Human rights’ are a fine thing, but how can we make ourselves sure that our rights do not expand at the expense of the rights of others. A society with unlimited rights is incapable of standing to adversity. If we do not wish to be ruled by a coercive authority, then each of us must rein himself in…A stable society is achieved not by balancing opposing forces but by conscious self-limitation: by the principle that we are always duty-bound to defer to the sense of moral justice. – Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

Desertification in Spain and Desert Greening Solutions

Climate Change could transform southern Spain into a desert: http://bit.ly/2dRzYtS

We can change that and stop the desertfication with our projects like Greening Deserts Camps and Desert Bamboo Project!

Another great idea is to use the greenhouses of Almeria partwise for massive forestation programs. If everybody just do a bit and we all work together on greening the dry areas we could get back the woods in Spain like in the good old times. Let’s come and start together, let’s make it happen!

Greening Coasts a New Green Project

Greening Deserts projects are concentrated on dry areas or regions at lakes, seas, rivers and oceans. That’s why we founded the subproject Greening Coasts.

Another good news, we got some concrete offers (land and basic resources) from Egypt and Libya. But of course we still need financial support for the first camps (equipment and other basic requirements) until we earn the first money of events, harvests, etc. Help us to start and to realise the first camps in the next years.

Go green, it’s never enough to do something good. There can’t be enough greening projects!

Climate Conference COP22 in Marrakesh Morocco

In Bangladesh alone, tens of millions are expected to have to flee from low-lying plains in coming years because of sea level rise and more severe weather, creating a migrant crisis that will make today’s pale in significance. With considerable justice, Bangladesh’s leading climate scientist says that “These migrants should have the right to move to the countries from which all these greenhouse gases are coming. Millions should be able to go to the United States.” And to the other rich countries that have grown wealthy while bringing about a new geological era, the Anthropocene, marked by radical human transformation of the environment. – Chomsky Noam
A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men. Our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects. – Herman Melville
All things are connected like the blood that unites us. We do not weave the web of life, we are merely a strand in it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. – Chief Seattle
A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people. – Franklin D. Roosevelt
What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and to one another. – Gandhi
The activist is not the man who says the river is dirty. The activist is the man who cleans up the river. – Ross Perot
The best friend of earth of man is the tree. When we use the tree respectfully and economically, we have one of the greatest resources on the earth. – Frank Lloyd Wright

Just a note, have seen no politician who planted a tree at the conference.

Climate Conference Cop21 Paris – Cop22 Marrakesh

Shocking news, facts and scandals about the Climate Conference in Morocco.

“The organization of COP22 will cost some €100 million.”
Where all the money is gone or for what exactly was it spent on?

We wanted to visit the UN Climate Conference of the Parties (COP22) in Marrakesh, Morocco. Seems we are not welcome, we got no invitation. But ok, we have enough to do, no money and also no time for endless talks like in Paris which changed nothing or too little. Since years we call for help and real support, also financially. Hope they start finally to do something for the nature, for the poor people and for the regions really need change or help – so how they promised the last years. With all the money they waste for such conferences or campaigns they could help all that poor people and regions. And what is with animal and human rights and biggest climate problems like air pollution caused by meat and coal production? Questions over questions

Of course we are for the good people, organisations and developments at and around the conference, especially for the alternative camps like Alter Cop22 Forum de la Terre.

Greening Deserts Calling for Help and Support

How you can see on the crowdfunding pages only a couple of good people wanted to support the Greening Deserts project financially. There are many reasons like you can read here or in the last posts. It’s sad that so many people who can help ignore(d) such an important project also even if they know or noticed that the project needs help.

In todays times, so less care and showing some courage or real support for others, the nature or planet earth. The project is not just for the poor countries, it’s for all areas need more green, parks, woods and a healthy and more natural environment. To realise the project together with the world community would change the world into a better one.

Always remember, if you support the project you support yourself and your future, sad that so few people understand that. You help us and we can help us all, especially the poor and young generation.

If you want really help actively or financially you can connect the founder and send some money with paypal or credit card. You can send also a personal cheque, money order or bank draft. Adresses you can find in the info section and impressum. For each donation you can get the same rewards like in the crowdfunding campaigns. You will get your rewards if we have the money we need and can start with the first camp. If you can, write a mail before you send money, so we can stay in contact. Thank you, each donation counts! And thank you for liking, but constructive feedback, sharing or other real active support is better.

Greening Projects for Refugees and Refugee Camps

Today we want to write a bit about greening projects for refugees.

Why so many refugee camps have no or so less greenhouses, gardens and parks?

For some time we think about to help the poor with our greening or gardening projects, for countries (landscape greening) or cities (urban greening). Together it’s really easy to build up little greenhouses, community gardens and use permaculture or gardening techniques fit good with the regional conditions and environment, also without big irrigation. There are great greenhouse projects like Roots Up using water supply by air.
The refugee camps also could use cheap and portable (pop up) greenhouses, just for the case that camps will be closed and destroyed. How you can see we always thinking sustainable, economically and social. Greening Deserts camps are a good example for refugee camps – greening camps for refugees.

Please help and support our sustainable startup for a greener and better future. Check our project pages for more information.

If you can’t support the project financially, you can support by sharing and with constructive feedback.

Greening Deserts is a sustainable project for greening, irrigation and forestation. The project is not just for dry or poor countries, it’s for all areas need more green, parks, woods and a healthy and more natural environment. To accelerate the process professional greening camp and research camp with greenhouses will be installed. Using clean technologies like irrigation with natural water sources (rivers, lakes, seas or oceans) and renewable energy supply with solar and water energy.

The project is mainly to restore and reclaim land or topsoil in the first three years, build groves, parks and small woods. Parallel we doing scientific studies with own test greenhouse and test fields new plants, irrigation and cultivation techniques. We offer a wide range of services (greening, buidling, etc.), check our pages and community network for more details.

At the end we all have a lot of parks, usable land for gardening, agriculture or just living. There are great opportunities and possibilities for greening dry areas near coasts, rivers or lakes. Another point is to green dry cities with Rooftop Gardening. The project will do a kind of acupuncture and help the nature to restore and expand in the region where the greening spots are. It is an epochal and important future project for us and the next generations. The project team thinks in the long term.

Please help us to realise the project and support us also without money. Share and recommend the project so we maybe reach people who can really help or support actively. Thank you and have a great time!

Climate Change Cleantech and Sustainable Energy

Climate Change, CleanTech and Sustainable Energy are important themes, also on the International Day of Peace. Important are also themes like Human Rights, Education and Sustainable Living. Let’s celebrate together and imagine a peaceful world without wars, hate, ignorance and all the negative characteristics of humanity. http://peacealliance.org/tools-education/peace-inspirational-quotes

Where ignorance is our master, there is no possibility of real peace.
We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves. – Dalai Lama
Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that. – Martin Luther King Jr.
Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures. – John F. Kennedy
The day the power of love overrules the love of power, the world will know peace. – Mahatma Gandhi
Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding. – Albert Einstein

Some plants like bamboo have a very strong and positive effect on the environment and life forms. Maybe think about bamboo as a symbolic plant for peace projects, organisations or events?

Enjoy your day, do not forget the Human Rights Day on 10 December. Peace out ! Your Greening Deserts Crowd.
